Ireland Map
Doochary, Cloghan and Fintown
Move north along this craggy Atlantic coastline to Gaoth Beara (Gweebarra) Bay, and to the village of An Dúchoraidh (Doochary), a trout and salmon angler’s paradise. Take in the fishful Loch Finne in the centre of Donegal County and Léim an Bhradáin - The Salmon Leap, on the Finn River. From Fintown (Baile Na Finne) you can take a trip on “An Mhuc Dhubh”, Donegal’s only operational narrow gauge railway. The railway line runs along the banks of the crystal waters of Lough Finn. Also part of the Donegal Gaeltacht is Glenfin (Gleann Fhinne), the birthplace of Isaac Butt MP, the founder of the Irish Home Rule Party
