Coláiste na Rinne is one of the
major Irish language colleges
in the country. As well as
providing intensive summer
courses, Coláiste na Rinne
hosts children from all over
Ireland each winter for an
interim school year between
primary and secondary school.
As well as giving Irish classes
and the basic primary school
education curriculum, the
college provides a wide range
of sporting and cultural
activities for the children.
Daonscoil na Mumhan, one of
the country's major Irish
language summer schools, is
held in Coláiste na Rinne each
August. This week long
event, which includes lectures,
seminars, céilithe, bus-trips to
sights of interest, attracts
participants from all over the
country.
