Fr. McDyer's Folk Village Museum recreates a village or `clachan', where the houses are exact replicas of the dwellings used by local people in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Steeped in culture, tradition and language, the museum depicts bygone lifestyles in SouthWest Donegal through an interpretative centre, craft shop, teahouse, schoolhouse, sheebeen and thatched cottages. Each house is equipped with the furniture, artifacts and utensils of its particular period. Contact: Glencolumbkille Folk Village.
